Welcome...

The G. F. Strong School Program seeks to meet the academic needs of students with neurological impairments sustained through illness or injury.  The G. F. Strong School Staff work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and are available to inpatient and outpatient youth who have not yet graduated.  The goal of the School Program is to integrate both the benefits of school and rehabilitation therapy, and to reintegrate students with newly acquired disabilities back to their home school communities.

NEW RESOURCE: My Guide: Concussion (Teen Edition)  teenconcussion.vch.ca

The G.F. Strong Adolescent Complex Concussion Clinic has just released a customizable concussion guide specific for teenagers and their caregivers.

Teenagers have different needs than adults during recovery. They learn differently and their questions are different. This website is customizable to each person's specific questions and symptoms, and it covers as much or as little information as one may want.
